Sequoia, Liz and Julia | Pet Adoption
Pet adoptions are officially my new favorite kinds of photoshoots! It doesn't get better than seeing a happy pup that gets a new, loving home. I met Julia and Liz when I graduated high school and began working at a daycare. This summer, Liz and Julia decided to get an apartment together and even before they moved in they were talking about rescuing a dog. They knew they wanted an older dog, not a puppy, and they knew they wanted to go all out and do a photoshoot to announce the adoption. About a month ago, while visiting the daycare, Liz let me know that they would be adopting a dog at the end of October. I was so excited when they asked me to take the pictures. This sweet dog is a Rhodesian Ridgeback, originally bred to hunt lions (hence the stuffed lion you'll see). She is six years old and was so good, she was able to be off the leash on her adoption day!! Sequoia is so lucky to have found a home like Liz and Julia's, here are some of my favorite moments from this shoot.
