Sometimes, accidents happen for a reason and things turn out better than you had planned. For example, this week, I had planned to share some photos from a wedding I went to last year for some portfolio building. I had never gotten around to sharing the photos online, even though I edited them almost as soon as I got home. However, as I was going through and finding these photos to share, I accidentally deleted every single one of the photos I edited. I could not believe I had done that. Thankfully, I was able to recover the original files, but it meant I had to go through and reedit any pictures I wanted to share. I think this turned out better for me though, as it gave me an opportunity to 1. see how my photography has improved since last May and 2. improve the editing on the photos since my editing skills have improved since last year.
