Heather + Kaleb | Backyard Wedding
I've been dying to blog this event since the day it happened! Heather and Kaleb's backyard wedding was stunning, and it was so much fun to take pictures for. Some of you may know, this was the first wedding I ever photographed! I loved every second of it and I definitely want to do more in the future. But onto the actual wedding!
It rained every single day all day long the week of the wedding. It was forecasted to rain that day around 4 o'clock, right when we were supposed to start taking portraits. Everyone was prepared for the worst possible situation. But the morning of the wedding, we woke up and the weather forecast showed clear skies for the whole day! It was definitely the result of answered prayers (many, many prayers!)
While it didn't rain, it was extremely hot. With reaching 90* and the humidity making it feel about 98*, Heather was a trooper taking pictures in her dress. And she looked beautiful the whole time! (I, on the other hand, was a sweaty mess the whole day.)
Heather and Kaleb ended up having a beautiful day, despite the heat. Between the first look and first dance, daddy - daughter dance, and speeches made by family and friends, it was the most heartfelt day.
Thank you so much to Heather and Kaleb for letting me shoot your special day!
